I hired William after failing with a couple of other mold “specialists”. I did not feel they were being honest with me. The minute I met William I knew he was one of the good guys. He was very patient with me, answered all my questions, and was transparent (and realistic) about the situation on my hands. He had the report and lab results to me very quickly as well. Will is fantastic! Not only is he knowledgeable, but he also takes the time to break down every detail and listen to your worries. Like many people, I think there’s always the worry that someone will come into your home and give you false information to make a small job MUCH larger than it actually is. With Will, this is not a worry! Not only are his prices incredibly affordable, but with his previous (12 years) experience in water damage, he has incredible knowledge and gives you the complete picture of what is happening in your home. Plus, he has a 24-HOUR TURN AROUND on his results!!!! I can’t say enough about my experience with Will; if you are looking for answers, I will trust Will every time!

Incredibly professional and thorough. William helped us identify sources of water damage additional to the one we knew about and helped us get in touch with a reputable remediation company. I am quite thankful that we had William Rivers from Howard Environmental support us during an exhaustive and time consuming mold issue. He was actually the second consultant I had reached out to because the first gave me so little information and a remediation plan that basically tore the whole house apart. William was able to be more investigative during the inspection process and precise with his remediation plan which saved us unnecessary expenses. During the process of trying to figure out where the moisture was coming from, he was essential in the discovery and subsequent cleaning and repair. I was so appreciative that he was available for my many questions and consultations, he is truly an expert! I will always recommend William and Howard Environmental for excellent work and support through the insurance process, and remediation.

William was wonderful! He made sure to our appointment time was OUR time. He arrived promptly and was not in a rush. He took the time to explain the process as well as the purpose/goal of each test. He explained his equipment and the lab expectations, as well as provided his expertise, knowledge and experience in a way that I could understand; he explained the terminology and jargon and made sure I was comfortable and present during the inspection. William Rivers with Howard Environmental is a topnotch professional! We needed timely and thorough work done regarding recently discovered water damage and the potential for mold. Rivers scheduled us promptly, inspected the affected areas, and carried out testing. He communicated well without being condescending, eagerly shared his professional opinion, and performed good consumer education. We later had him do follow up clearance testing after the water mitigation and mold remediation work. Rivers has got the science down, and he provides excellent customer service. With the help of Howard Environmental, I was able to figure out if I have mold and how harmful it might be. Mr. Rivers service was professional and friendly. Didn't take long based off the level of help i needed. Showed up on time. Was able to inform me of other physical damage happening to my apartment that I hadn't noticed. I’d recommend 5 out of 5 times and I would use again. Great experience. Will Rivers was our inspector - Will is experienced, thorough, communicates excellently and cares about what he does. Asbestos was widely used in construction materials due to its fire-resistant and insulating properties.

Common asbestos-containing materials include insulation, particularly vermiculite insulation and asbestos-cement pipe.

Other potential sources are roofing shingles, floor tiles, and textured paint.

Asbestos can also be found in older appliances, automotive parts, and even some textiles.

Asbestos Air Sampling

We use a specialized pump to draw air through a filter that captures the fibers.

This filter is then examined under a microscope to identify and count the asbestos fibers.

The number of fibers found determines the level of asbestos contamination in the air.

This type of testing is crucial for assessing the risk of exposure during asbestos removal or disturbance, as well as for monitoring the effectiveness of containment measures.
